The ideal candidate will have experience supervising inmates and working as part of a team to maintain a safe environment.
A Correctional Officer must always be alert and aware of any danger and must be prepared to act in emergency situations.
Responsibilities:
Direct inmates as they carry out their daily tasks.
Maintain order and enforce rules in jail or prison.
Maintain custody and security of inmates, staff, and community.
Respond to emergency situations such as riots.
Answer phones and work with others to summarize information prior to presenting to superiors.
Ensure the safety of inmates and staff.
Control access to secure areas of the jail or prison.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
