Information Technology Specialist

SUMMARY OF POSITIONThe Information Technology Specialist will use computer-based information systems, working with both network and software applications and computer hardware.
This position will design, operate, and maintain technology products and is responsible for maintenance of our Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES Provide support for our EMR, Greenway Intergy.
Understand all aspects of our EMR.
Manage interfaces and other supporting applications (telehealth, faxing, medical images).
Provide support for a variety of business software applications.
Research and implement new software applications for clinic use.
Evaluate and educate staff as needed to ensure proper use of software applications.
Provide support for our computer equipment, including PCs, laptops, network, and other peripheral devices.
Serve as a contact and liaison with our outside IT vendor, Five Nines Technology.
Work with our EMR vendor and other resources to track and report a variety of data quality measures to outside organizations.
Educate staff on procedures to ensure quality measures are being captured.
Work directly with the Physicians, Administrator, and Health Services Manager to accomplish tasks.
Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
QUALIFICATIONS Experience in healthcare and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications Previous Technical Support experience SKILLS Ability to effectively communicate in both written and verbal forms.
Expert level in Microsoft Office Applications Ability to maintain accurate records.
Attention to detail.
Great time management skills.
Ability to effectively manage several projects at once.
Expert level computer skills are necessary.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
